George Town Hospital
The George Town Hospital, the principal healthcare facility in the Cayman Islands, is a modern two-story facility with 127 beds. It offers accident and emergency services; a wide range of surgical services; a Critical Care Unit, physiotherapy; a pharmacy; and laboratory services, including a state-of-the-art forensic unit - along with many other facilities a person would expect in a modern health care setting.
We are a 24-hour full-service medical facility. There are four operating theatres; a dialysis unit; an oncology unit; an X-ray; a morgue; and a forensic and drug testing laboratory. Other facilities include outpatient specialist clinics, administrative offices, and a modern high-tech electronic health information management section.
Specialist services are available in the fields of surgery, gynaecology & obstetrics, paediatrics, internal medicine, dermatology, anaesthesiology, public health, orthopaedics, psychology, cardiology, gastroenterology, psychiatry, radiology, nephrology, ophthalmology, ear, nose and throat, reconstructive surgery, faciomaxillary surgery, chronic pain management, complimentary & alternative medicine, chiropractic, and urology.
Facility Information
Free parking is available for patients and their guests. Visitors must park only in designated parking areas. Areas marked for special services such as Emergency or Blood Bank are restricted to persons using those services. Owners of cars parked in these areas will be notified by HSA security and asked to remove their vehicles immediately. Illegal parking in handicapped parking spaces will result in a ticket by the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service.
