Job Summary: The Phlebotomist is responsible for providing efficient and accurate blood collection services to both inpatients and outpatients, ensuring that high-quality samples are obtained to support diagnostic testing. The role also includes scheduling patient appointments, entering and managing laboratory information systems, maintaining supplies, and providing patients with clear instructions regarding sample preparation. The postholder will work in a fast-paced clinical environment, interacting with patients, nurses, and physicians while maintaining high standards of professionalism, infection control, and patient care.

Qualifications and Experience: Candidates should possess a High School diploma along with a recognized Phlebotomy Training Certificate or Diploma, and at least one (1) year of experience working in a clinical environment. The successful candidate should demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work effectively within a team, and the flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Attention to detail, the ability to handle sensitive situations, and adherence to safety and infection control protocols are essential for this role.
