Environmental Services Worker (Faith Hospital)

Job Summary: The Environmental Services Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout Faith Hospital and its associated departments. The successful candidate performs routine and specialized cleaning of patient care areas, outpatient departments, offices, clinical units, and public spaces in accordance with infection prevention and control standards. The role also ensures the replenishment of supplies and amenities, maintains cleanliness of equipment and furnishings, and supports a safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The candidate cleans each area according to guidelines in the Environmental Cleaning Manual to meet Infection Control Standards and replenishes supplies as needed.

Qualifications and Experience: The successful candidate should possess a High School Diploma and have good comprehension skills, fluency in reading and writing English. Previous janitorial experience, especially in a hospital environment is preferred. The candidate must be available to undergo annual physical examinations and must be able to work and climb a 12-foot ladder. He/she must not have allergies to cleaning agents, must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds and be able to stoop and bend often. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and have exceptional customer service skills.
