About Me

Dr. Aditya Sethi is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Health Services Authority, Cayman Islands, specializing in Cataract, Refractive, and Pediatric Eye Care. He brings a unique blend of surgical precision, academic expertise, and community-oriented care to his practice. Trained at premier institutions including Sankara Nethralaya (Chennai) and the Fyodorov Eye Microsurgery Complex (Moscow), Dr. Sethi is also a Fellow of the World College of Refractive Surgery & Visual Sciences (FWCRS) and a recipient of multiple international awards for excellence in ophthalmology.

Dr. Sethi’s surgical repertoire includes premium cataract surgery (EDOF, Toric, and Multifocal IOLs), SMILE, LASIK, and ICL for refractive correction, as well as pediatric cataract and squint surgery. He is a passionate advocate for accessible eye care, having led several high-impact community outreach programs in India before relocating to the Cayman Islands.

He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and serves as a reviewer for international journals such as Ophthalmic Genetics, BMJ, and the Canadian Journal of Ophthalmology. Dr. Sethi is also a dynamic medical educator, previously holding leadership roles in the Young Ophthalmologists Society of India (YOSI), and is now actively involved in building capacity and surgical training at HSA.
