Radiologist (Interventional)

On call Allowance of USD$39,438 per annum

Job Summary: The successful candidate will provide comprehensive diagnostic and interventional radiology services at the Cayman Islands Hospital and Faith Hospital as required. The role includes performing and interpreting a wide range of imaging investigations, undertaking specialized interventional procedures, overseeing imaging services, ensuring compliance with radiation safety standards, supporting strategic healthcare planning, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care. The postholder will also participate in clinical audits, continuing medical education, staff development, and support compliance with Joint Commission International (JCI) standards and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications and Experience: The successful candidate must possess a Medical Degree together with a postgraduate qualification such as an MD and a super-specialist qualification in Interventional Radiology, such as a DM or Fellowship. Applicants must have a minimum of five (5) years of postgraduate experience in the specialty, including substantial experience in interventional vascular and endovascular techniques. Candidates must be eligible for specialist registration with the Cayman Islands Medical and Dental Council and demonstrate expertise in CT, MRI, mammography, and ultrasound imaging. Strong clinical, leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills are essential.
