Environmental Services Supervisor

Job Summary: The Environmental Services Supervisor provides day-to-day leadership and supervision of Environmental Services staff within the Support Services Department. The successful candidate will assist in implementing departmental standards and work procedures, monitor cleaning and sanitation practices, conduct quality inspections, support staff training, and help ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The role also involves supporting infection prevention measures, maintaining operational records, supervising evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, and assisting with the management of supplies, equipment, and departmental resources.

Qualifications & Experience: The successful candidate should possess an Associate’s Degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or an equivalent field, along with a minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience in a housekeeping supervisory role. Candidates should have sound knowledge of housekeeping practices and equipment, strong verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. The ideal candidate will have excellent planning, organizational, leadership, time-management, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure, maintain professional integrity, resolve problems proactively, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and customer service are consistently achieved.
