Registered Nurse - Wound Care

Primary Responsibilities: The applicant provides specialized, evidence-based care for patients with acute and chronic wounds, including comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing management. Responsible for selecting and applying appropriate wound therapies, identifying complications, and coordinating care across the patient’s journey. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to support healing, prevent skin breakdown, and ensure continuity of care. Delivers education to staff, patients, and caregivers, while maintaining accurate documentation and contributing to quality improvement and prevention initiatives. Wound care certification required; ostomy experience/certification preferred. The applicant must acquire and maintain wound care certification. Ostomy certification is desirable.
