Physiotherapist (Faith Hospital)

The Physiotherapist restores patient's function, alleviates pain, and prevents disabilities by planning and administering physiotherapy treatments.

Primary Responsibilities: The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality, patient-centred care, help individuals meet their recovery goals and improve their physical function. Using independent clinical judgment—guided by evaluations, test findings, and physician collaboration—the candidate will design and implement personalized treatment plans. He/she will perform therapeutic interventions, including manual exercises and fitting prosthetic or orthotic devices, and closely monitor progress to refine care as needed. A key part of this role will be coaching and motivating patients through exercises, daily-activity training, and use of assistive equipment like crutches, canes, or prostheses. You will also maintain seamless communication with physicians and care teams, ensure precise documentation of patient treatment and progress, and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications and Experience: The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy and a minimum of three (3) years of postgraduate experience. The candidate must be eligible for registration to practice in the Cayman Islands and hold a valid license to practice in either, Canada, South Africa, UK, USA, Jamaica, Australia or New Zealand. A valid driver’s license is desirable. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and excellent written and oral communication is essential.
