Dr. Samuel Williams-Rodriguez, Director of Primary Health Care Services and Medical Officer of Health, emphasised the continued importance of COVID-19 vaccine, stating:
“COVID-19 is still present. The virus continues to circulate, especially affecting our most vulnerable. The Pfizer booster vaccine provides a safe and effective layer of protection, reducing the risk of severe illness and helping to safeguard not only individuals but our wider community. I strongly encourage everyone who is eligible to take advantage of the opportunities to be vaccinated.”
