Effective Monday, 3 May 2021 the Health Services Authority (HSA) will discontinue PCR COVID-19 testing for outbound travellers from the Cayman Islands. These tests will now be offered by Health City Cayman Islands or Doctors Hospital.With both private hospitals offering COVID PCR testing, this allows HSA to continue our efforts with COVID PCR testing at the airport, exit tests for home quarantine, as well as the COVID vaccination campaign, said HSA CEO, Ms Lizzette Yearwood.Persons who have already scheduled with HSA will be contacted directly with information to reschedule. The HSA will continue to provide PCR testing by appointment for pre-operative patients and individuals requiring hospital admission.
