The Health Services Authority is aware of disparaging posts on public personal social media profiles regarding members of our clinical staff. The Authority, with the involvement of law enforcement, has thoroughly investigated the allegations and have found these to be baseless and defamatory to our staff and the organization.The Authority expects high levels of performance and exemplary behaviour from staff, regardless of their role or position in the organisation.  We carry out fair and impartial investigations where allegations are made of any employee whose conduct or performance does not align with the values, policies and performance standards established by the organization.  These standards of behaviour are established by professional codes of conduct, the Public Service Code of Conduct, and Public Service Values.At the same time, where baseless allegations are made, the Authority will take appropriate action to protect the integrity, reputation, and personal security of our employees who are wilfully maligned in the public sphere or otherwise threatened.Physicians, by the nature of their work and position of trust, are also held to rigorous clinical practice standards and ethical guidelines.
