Five HSA employees are among several individuals in the public and private sector to receive national awards by Her Majesty the Queen in her birthday honours list in recognition of their in responding to the COVID-19 crisis.Among the HSA employees receiving special national honours are Forensic DNA Specialist Angela Tanzillo-Swarts who has been conferred with the award of Honorary Member of the British Empire (Honorary MBE) for her contribution to Caymans capacity and ability to carry out wide-scale testing.HSA CEO, Lizzette Yearwood is among four members of staff who have been awarded with the Certificate and Badge of Honour for meritorious service rendered during the COVID-19 pandemic. This recognition was also awarded to:

  • Dr. Samuel Williams-Rodriquez – Medical Officer of Health
  • Dr. Hazel Brown – Chief Nursing Officer
  • Dawn Cummings – Chief Financial Officer
