HSA clinics & services closing early due to Tropical Storm Warning

Due to the approach of Tropical Depression Nine, the Cayman Islands Health Services Authority (HSA) is closing all regularly scheduled out-patient clinics including general practice, acute care clinic, physiotherapy, mental health, dental and eye clinics at 4pm on Thursday, 26 August 2021 . Services including pharmacy, phlebotomy, radiology, COVID-19 testing clinic and the airport COVID-19 vaccination clinic will also be closed. All elective surgeries will be cancelled.All District Health Centres are closed for the remainder of Thursday.   Patients will be contacted directly to reschedule appointments affected by these closures.All persons with exit testing scheduled for Friday will have their tests rescheduled to Saturday. All clinics and services will reopen at 12 noon on Friday pending all clear from Hazard Management Cayman Islands (HMCI). A&E will still operate 24 hours, but persons are reminded to stay home unless it is a true medical emergency.The vaccination clinic scheduled for today at the Savannah MLA Office 4-7pm will be cancelled. The clinic will reopen at 12 noon on Friday at Camana Bay pending all clear from HMCI. The clinic will resume its scheduled hours on Saturday at the Owen Roberts International Airport 9am 12noon and 1:30-4pm. SISTER ISLANDS Walk-in clinics at Faith Hospital will be closed on Thursday.
