Due to the approach of Tropical Storm Grace, the Cayman Islands Health Services Authority (HSA) has cancelled all elective surgeries and regularly scheduled out-patient clinics including district health centres, general practice, acute care clinic, specialist, physiotherapy, mental health, dental and eye clinics for Wednesday, 18 August 2021 . Services including phlebotomy, radiology, COVID-19 testing clinic and the airport COVID-19 vaccination clinic will also be closed. Patients will be contacted directly to reschedule appointments affected by these closures.All District Health Centres and Acute Care Clinic (ACC) is closed for the remainder of Tuesday. The following services will remain open until regular closing times today:

  • Cayman Islands Main Pharmacy – closes at 9pm
  • Information Desk and Medical Records – closes at 4pm
The following services will REOPEN at 12 noon on Wednesday (pending ‘all clear’ from HMCI):
  • Cayman Islands Main Pharmacy
  • Information Desk and Medical Records
  • Acute Care Clinic
  • Dental Clinic will be open for emergencies only
A&E will still operate 24 hours, but persons are reminded to stay home unless it is a true medical emergency.The vaccination clinic at ORIA will be closed Wednesday 18 August and will resume on Thursday, 19 August in Prospect at the Hon Minister of Health Sabrina Turner’s community office at 4:30pm – 7pm. SISTER ISLANDS Walk-in clinics at Faith Hospital will be closed on Wednesday.
