The main entrance of the Cayman Islands Hospital will be closed on Sunday, 24 January and Monday, 25 January to facilitate the removal and replacement of the entrances canopy and other structural upgrades.During this two-day period, patients, including those visiting the Pharmacy, Dialysis Unit and Specialist Clinic, in the hospitals atrium will be directed to use the MRI entrance close to Accident & Emergency on the side of the building.Vehicles will not be able to access the driveway underneath the canopy, which will be blocked off. However, parking spaces will not be affected.Construction work is expected to continue over the next few weekends and the Health Services Authority (HSA) will keep the public informed as the project progresses.The HSA apologises for any inconvenience. These upgrades are essential to the improvement and modernisation of the facility.
