The Health Services Authority (HSA) advises the public that the starting Monday 31st January 2022, the Flu Clinic will be operating from its original location – the former COVID testing clinic space at the Cayman Islands Hospital (located to the left of A&E). The relocation will allow the HSA to facilitate the expansion of other services.
The clinic hours will remain Monday to Friday 8AM-8PM & Saturday 10AM – 6PM.
Persons may still access the clinic by parking in the Seventh Day Adventist Church Parking Lot and proceeding to the left of the Accident & Emergency entrance. Signage on campus will be available to provide direction.
All persons with flu symptoms are reminded to first contact the 24 hour Flu Hotline to speak to a health professional about their symptoms prior to visiting the clinic. Contact 1-800-534-8600, 345-947-3077 or flu@hsa.ky.
Flu symptoms may include:
- Fever
- Sore throat
- Cough
- Runny nose
- Muscle or body aches
- Chills
Please call 911 if you experience worsening symptoms such as:
- Sudden dizziness and confusion;
- Severe or persistent vomiting;
- Pain or pressure in the chest or abdomen; or,
- Difficulty breathing
All persons are required to wear a facemask at all HSA locations.
